Thank you all for making the previous auctions so great! The network of discaholics, collectors and related is really getting extended and we are happy about that and hoping for it to be spreading even more. Let’s share, let’s TRADE, let’s make the connections, let’s collect, let’s trim our (vinyl)gardens!
We are very proud to present some totally amazing objects of extreme rarity as well as some really GREAT records of creative music in this catalogue. Music comes first – we like to have a mix of extreme rarities as well as some great and unusual music, not eating up our food & electricity budgets.
We put a lot of time and energy into compiling a really great selection of GREAT music and not just rare records. The ultimate is of course, a mix of greatness and rarity!
Vinyls before rent!
This list has some extreme objects to offer. Many. A very, very special treat is the collection of John Stevens original art pieces. 12 unique pieces are presented here. This is a totally unique chance to acquire mind-blowing art by the Free Music master himself. Please observe also the copies of the AMAZING book “Search and Reflect” written by John. The best and most creative book on Free Improvised music pedagogy ever written. We kid you not. This is an amazing book. These are the last remaining copies for sale here. Art and books are presented by the family of John Stevens.
We are also presenting some serious posters of Free Music, original posters of high rarity and fantastic content. These objects will likely not show up soon again. Most are directly from the archive of bass player giant Barry Guy. We continue inviting musicians, producers and artists to contribute with records and objects in this auction.
We have the extreme pleasure to again invite a legend of free music to contribute with records from his own private archive: Paul Lovens is opening the Po Torch vault for us and (hold on to your hats!!) – offering mint archive copies of most of the Po Torch catalogue. We thought last year was a one-time offer. But we got new additions for this year’s auction. This is IT! Po Torch: One of the few labels with NO weak releases. All killer albums! How is it possible?
Jack Tieleman, Thomas Millroth, Tieme Salverda, Tyler King and Arnold Hedin contribute with some extreme objects. We have a huge selection of records from the archives of Oren Ambarchi and Crys Cole. Hard-to-find experimental new music and sound art, as well as free music objects! Not for the faint hearted.
Again, as always – our partner-in-crime – Björn Thorstensson has contributed with some absolute KILLING records! Sun Ra, Steve Lacy, Cecil T, Derek Bailey and Brötzmann- completist as he is, he has forwarded some other INSANE records this time. Be afraid!
Please make sure to check the EP and CD (!) section out! We have tried to collect some really great 7” vinyls in this auction. Starting at item 331 As well as some very rare CDs. Starting at item 355. Yes, you read correctly… times are there now, we do believe. Some CDs are actually worth collecting.
One special feature is, as always, HOLY GRAILS, highlighted as: ”Only serious bids and trade offers will be considered”. These 30 holy (and unholy) grails are all extremely rare and need special treatment and love.

Record conditions
The conditions of each record are checked visually and – in most cases – also by play grade. All are 1st / original pressings, unless otherwise is stated. We try to grade conservatively.
The first category stated is the condition of the vinyl and the second is referring to the condition of the cover, for example: VG++/NM etc.
NAC – No Art Cover
DG – Deep Groove
DNAP – Does Not Affect Playing
M / mint, never opened, never played
NM / near mint, hardly played, perfect copy, pristine
VG++ / very good condition. Looks like new, with few marks and hairlines
VG+ / signs of mild wear, occasional surface noise, still very good condition.
VG / light scratches, light wear and some surface noise
G / good, but with many marks and scratches and background noise
P / poor, bad condition, scratches and marks, but no skips.
Only sealed records are considered M. Never played, non-sealed records are automatically NM. Even if they look and feel pristine.
