Rune Grammofon is an world-renowned and uniquely sounding record label, and now celebrates their 20 year anniversary, a truly exciting line-up at Nasjonal jazzscene in Oslo. For two celebratory nights, we have chosen artists we feel reflects the excitement and diversity of Rune Grammofon.
The first night is Friday 30th of November where you’ll experience Maja S. K. Ratkje (picture), one of Norway´s most important contemporary musicians. She’s a great singer, noise artist and composer with a deep gravity and a lot of humor. Both as a member of the group Spunk and as a soloist.

Motorpsycho is a class of its own in terms of Norwegian rock exports and as a quality scale for music in Norway. The band is one of the bautas in the company and living proof that rock, pop and jazz can be so many things, and still, even after a long career, be challenging, exciting and energizing.

Saturday 1st of December kicks off with Mats Gustafsson and his trio FIRE! The Swedish saxophone player has participated in many great projects, but up close, in sync with Andreas Werliin and Johan Berthling is possibly him at his best!

A recurring favorite is the highly productive, very interesting and energetic Hedvig Mollestad Trio, who, with their distinctive brew of power jazz and rock, have found their own unique slot between the guitar heroes in history. We are looking forward to yet another live explosion from this great band!
