Berlin-based pianist Magda Mayas and multi-instrumentalist-improviser-label owner Boris Hauf organized a charity album for the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund, dedicated to the children of Gaza and providing medical attention to the children who need it the most and helping to relieve the medical sector in Gaza.
This generous – literally – compilation, released by Hauf’s Shameless Records label, features many of Salt Peanuts’ favorite musicians, including Christian Wallumrød, Elisabeth Harnik & Harri Sjöström, Katharina Klement, Kit Downes, Lisa Ullén, Magda Mayas, Boris Hauf, Satoko Fujii, Sten Sandell, Aki Takase & Alex Schlippenbach, Pat Thomas, Alister Spence, Steve Beresford, Kaja Draksler, Marina Džukljev, Chris Abrahams, Anais Tuerlinckx, Achim Kaufmann, Rieko Okuda, Ingrid Schmoliner, Andrea neumann, Frédéric Blondy, Marta Warelis & Ada Rave, Håvard Wiik, and Burkhard Stangl.

100% of the proceeds will go to the Gaza Children Fund.
